How do you protect against illegal occupation or encroachment?
Our routine inspections ensure no unauthorized person occupies or uses the property.
Any suspicious activity is reported immediately with photos/videos.
We install visible “Under HikeHomes Management” signage to deter trespassers (optional).
Digital lock system, and CCTV cameras are added for security.
How much does it cost to use HikeHomes?
HikeHomes offers flexible, subscription-based property management packages starting at affordable rates, billed bi-weekly or monthly in USD. Each plan is tailored based on the type and size of the property, ensuring you only pay for what you need. We also offer custom add-on services including:
Fencing and boundary wall construction
Renovations, painting, and repairs
Landscaping and routine maintenance
Legal, accounting, and compliance support for property transactions
All services are transparent, contract-based, and designed to give you complete peace of mind while you're abroad.
Is there a long-term contract or cancellation fee for Property Management?
No. We believe in earning your trust—not locking you in. Our property management services are subscription-based and can be canceled anytime with a 30-day notice. There are no hidden fees or long-term obligations.
How do I make payments from abroad?
We accept secure online payments through credit cards, PayPal, and direct payment links. All pricing is displayed in USD for your convenience.
For trading services, we require a 25% commitment fee (based on the agreed commission and approximate property value) at the time of listing. This ensures serious intent and helps us cover upfront marketing, compliance, and coordination costs. The remaining 75% of the commission is payable only upon successful sale of the property.
This policy helps us maintain transparency and efficiency while protecting our operational integrity in cases where sellers later choose not to proceed with the sale.
Where are you based?
HikeHomes operates in Punjab (India), with coordination and support from Surrey, BC (Canada). Our founders are NRIs themselves and understand both worlds.
What do I need to sign up?
Getting started with HikeHomes is simple and fully remote:
Fill out our Customer Application Form online
Receive a confirmation call from our service manager to understand your needs
Digitally sign the Service Agreement
Upload your property documents (ownership proof, ID, utility bill, etc.)
Make your initial payment securely via our online payment link
Once completed, a dedicated property manager will be assigned to your case within 24–48 hours, and your onboarding report will be initiated immediately.
How do your Trading Services work, and what are the charges?
When you choose to list your property with HikeHomes for sale or lease, we manage the entire process—from marketing and buyer due diligence to legal compliance, documentation, and global remittance assistance.
Our commission ranges between 3–5%, depending on the property size and the complexity of the transaction.
Unlike the traditional Indian model, we do not charge the buyer—we work exclusively for you as the seller, ensuring full transparency and accountability.
Do you help with disputed properties or legal conflicts?
No, we currently do not engage with disputed properties or properties involved in ongoing legal conflicts. We only work with clean title properties that are free from claims, disputes, or legal complications. As part of our onboarding process, we:
Conduct a title search to verify ownership and legal standing
Obtain an affidavit from you confirming there are no known disputes or claims on the property
Perform an initial on-site assessment
Provide a comprehensive report with the property's approximate market value
Share recommendations for improvements that may increase resale value
This process ensures full transparency and protects both our clients and our brand from potential legal risks.
